Born in Eastern Pennsylvania, Evan was raised with music always playing in the background and a toy microphone in his hand.  

 

From an early age, his family traveled to experience the arts and music together. From monthly Broadway shows and concerts in NYC to playing in Havana, Cuba with street musicians, Evan was hooked and quickly picked up on sounds and genres of music.

He always had a mystifying knowledge of bands and artists that came before him. He would rattle off Beatle songs and and album history as show-n-tell and recite entire lyric sheets. 

 

From asking for his first concert ticket at 4 ---Aerosmith-- to becoming a Led Zeppelin historian by 10, Evan first learned how to sing and play the guitar, piano and banjo on his own.

He now lives in the vibrant music scene of Northern Florida where the greats like Tom Petty and Lynyrd Skynyrd got their starts. He is greatly influenced by many genres from Appalachia to rock to folk and theater.
